Help us create community green space and restore pollinator habitat under the power lines in the Rainier Beach. The Green Line is a collaborative restoration project taking place under Seattle City Light’s transmission corridor (Right-of-Way) in Southeast Seattle. We have studied wild bees in the area for 5 years, and planted nearly two acres of pollinator habitat to test how pollinator populations are affected.
At this project, you’ll learn more about the 100+ species of bees our team has identified, and the native plants and nesting habitats that help them thrive!
